Location
Hotel Berghaus Winterberg lies in the little village Neuastenberg. The ski lifts (www.postwiese.de) are within walking distance. In the summer-season you can also find the walking- and cycling routes (www.rothaarsteig.de) right in front of the Hotel. The unique region also attracts more and more motorcyclists for which we offer trips in the nearby area that will bring you to the most beautiful places in the surroundings of Neuastenberg.

We can always inform you about all the options in the field of cycling (also mountain-biking (www.bikepark-winterberg.de) and e-biking), motorcycling, hiking, sights, villages and cities, skiing (www.skiliftkarussell.de), golf (www.golfclub-winterberg.de) and culinary suggestions.
On your doorstep you will find Erlebnisberg Kappe (www.erlebnisbergkappe.de), where you can go sledding, climbing and walk over the Panoramabridge. The Ruhrquelle (www.ruhrquelle.com) where you can go mountain carting, is also a very nice experience.
Besucherbergwerk Ramsbeck (www.besucherbergwerk.de), where a mine train takes you to a depth of 300 meters, is also an absolute must.
Or if you want to enjoy nature, the Hillebachsee (www.niedersfeld.info), Diemelsee (www.sauerland-seen.de) and Edersee (www.edersee.com) are great excursions.

Want to go for a swim? You will find many swimming pools (www.schwimmbad-winterberg.de, www.aqua-olsberg.de) plus a subtropical swimming paradise (www.centerparcs.de) in the nearby area. Spielberg Aventura (www.aventura-medebach.de) with Europe’s longest playground equipment is also a nice getaway.
